Guess x A$AP Rocky Launch Guess Originals

Look who's finally jumping on the Streetwear look, Guess will be releasing the much anticipated Guess Originals, the debut street wear line, spearheaded by Guess's co-founder and Chief Creative Officer Paul Marciano in collaborations with rapper and streetstyle start, A$AP Rocky.

A$AP Rocky came on the scene back in 2011 with his debut album Long. Live. ASAP. He caught the eye o the fashion world with his unique style and his heavy use of designer name and his lyrics. Since then he's done collabs with Raf Simons, Jeremy Scott, and of course Black Label. So it's no surprise that he's caught the eye of Guess brand ans it's new sub label "Guess Originals."

Guess Originals will serve as a design initiative and continue to partner with influential creatives to revive designs from the brand's 30 year archive with a contemporary twist.
The collection with debut in February and will feature styles both for men and women , the looks include: Acid-washed frayed shorts, Striped skinny jeans, button up and bomber jackets, and overalls that feature the Guess logo inside. Speaking of the Guess logo they've updated it for the collection. Inspired by A$AP Rocky the to 's' in Guess logo will be changed to the dollar signs ' $', the logo will be found on Tanks, T-shirts, and the back of a white denim jacket.

To celebrate the launch and debut the collection, Guess partnered with A$AP's own artistic collective, AWGE ,to create a fully interactive installation. On 168 Bowery, NY, you'll be taken back to 90's basement complete with wooden panel walls, old school Nintendo, and a stack of CD's next to a boom box. Let the waves of nostalgia begin.

"AWGE Presents Archive: Guess Originals x A$AP Rocky" is open til Sunday Jan 17th. You can come and hang out on a plush velvet coach and eat Pop Rocky$ (formally know as Pop Rocks), Bubble Tape and Air heads. Sounds like a 90s dream.

The full collection will be available in select U.S. stores, retailers, and on Monday Feb. 15. For you early shoppers you can get your hands on a few prelaunched items from the collection Saturday Jan. 30 from the following retailers; Open Ceremony in New York, Los Angeles, and Tokyo,Union in Los Angeles, RSVP Gallery in Chicago (Men only), Contraband Tokyo (men only).

Seriously off the installation alone is enough to get me excited about the collection, plus I love A$AP Rocky's style.  Can't wait to see the full collection.
