Dear Year 24... I'm Ready

Becoming a year older can really put life in perspective. Never in my life did I think I would make it this far in life, seeing all that I've seen and really survive all that I've been through. No shock there, everyone has a past, everyone has a story, But this isn't about a revisting the past, it's about embracing the future and creating a new story.

For the past few years or so I was in a relationship that was going no where. Early last year we ended up calling it quits and last year, I had to shake the cobwebbs loose and live a litte. Although me and my ex still remained friends, old feelings had began to arise and we thought about getting back together. Alas, that attempt was thwarted before it really got a real running start.

So now I'm here, single, 24 really alone by myself for the first time in 4 years. What the heck am I going to do? The same as anyone should, I'm going to start all over! I decided to move in to a brand new city, dear God! To be honest I scared shitless, but you can't really experience life with out experiencing the most natural feeling of them all?

So I've set out a short goal list for my 24th year...

  • Move to a brand new city.
  • Find a job I love
  • Get healthy
  • Become a minimalist
  • Wear less make up
  • Get focused more on my career goals..
  • Read at least 5 books
Now I'll mainly be using this as a diary of shorts scrapbooking my tails, and saving little articles and tips Ive learned along the way. It'll be fun, no? So when I look back and remember the year I broke out of my comfort zone and lived! Year 24 I'm coming for you.
